Economy: Feb-2025: KSE-100 Index lacked momentum amid absence of catalysts - By JS Research

<p></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">KSE-100 index moved in a narrow band for the most part of the month of February and closed with negligible MoM loss of 0.9%. Lack of triggers, statusquo on key macro indicators, mixed trend in corporate earnings announcements, kept the market range-bound. On CYTD basis, PSX is down 2% and 4% from its high recorded on the first trading day of the year. Trading activity dropped 24% MoM in terms of shares traded.
